FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is there an age limit?
No, the only limits we have are weight. Participants must weigh between 75-250 lbs.
What do I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit dirty. Shorts are great - just remember that you'll be wearing a waist harness, so make sure your shorts aren't too short so that you won't have the harness rubbing you. Closed-toe shoes are an absolute. If you have long hair, pull it back into a pony tail.
Can I bring a camera?
Yes, but at your own risk. Small cameras are great, especially if they have a wrist-strap. Large cameras with long lenses aren't recommended.
What else should I bring?
Make sure you bring any medications you might need for the duration of your 3 hour tour - asthma inhalers, epi-pen, etc. Jewelry, cell phones and personal possessions should be stored in your vehicle or left at home. Zip Idaho® is not responsible for personal property lost, damaged, or stolen during the tour. Zip Idaho® provides you with all the equipment that you need.
How long is the tour?
It's about 3 hours, including shuttle time.
RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY
To ensure a quality experience, tours are offered by reservations only. When you book a tour, we schedule guides and other support staff to be available to make your zip line adventure an exciting experience. For this reason, we require 10 days notice for cancellations and rescheduling of tours for groups of 11 or more. We also require a non-refundable $40 per person deposit for groups of 11 or more. We require 7 days notice for cancellation groups of 5-10, and 48 hours notice for groups of less than 5. If you fail to meet your appointment, we still incur all the same expenses and may have turned others away. Therefore, those guests who fail to show for a reservation or cancel without proper notice will be charged the full tour price. If your tour is canceled due to unsafe weather or bad road conditions, no charges will be made and Zip Idaho® will try our best to reschedule your tour at the next convenient date for you. Please call our office if you have any questions about our reservation policy.
BAD WEATHER POLICY
We will not run tours in storms, high winds, or thunder and lightning. Idaho weather is as unpredictable as any place, so be assured, you will not be charged if Mother Nature tells us the tour is off. It is important to remember that foul weather in your area does not necessarily mean foul weather at Horseshoe Bend. Please call first if you have concerns about the weather. We will call only if we are certain your tour will not run. In some cases, tours may be postponed to allow for weather systems to pass. So as not to risk depriving you of the best tour of the week, we are likely to wait and see! Road conditions may also be a reason why we have to reschedule your tour.
The tour is designed for participants of good to moderate health; approximate weight range from 75 to 250 pounds and able to climb stairs unassisted. Pregnant women, people with heart, leg, or back problems, or other serious illness are advised not to do the zip line tour. Children are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Exceptions to any restrictions are at the discretion of the management. Please call before booking.
